Alice Teasdale grew up in the Adelaide Hills where a beautiful garden and the threat of fire dominated her childhood. She has directed oodles of theatre and short films, and written plays, screenplays and all sorts of other stories. For the last ten years she's been living on a Kangaroo Island farm with three extraordinary children, chooks, ducks, dogs and a sheep who thinks he's human.
Julia Both is a Brazilian-born, Australian artist who specialises in large-scale artwork that celebrates the natural world. From her Melbourne studio base, she has explored several illustrative styles for book formats.
