Erik Hatcher is a senior Java architect on a student information system J2EE re-architecture project at the University of Virginia. He has developed Microsoft Windows NT security analysis software and is a MCSE and a Sun-certified Java programmer. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. Steve Loughran is a research scientist at HP Laboratories whose work focuses on usability, innovative user interface design for applications and appliances, and on PC futures. He lives in Corvallis, Oregon.
