Obwohl Cheryl Lowe's Latina Christiana-Programm weithin für sein einfach zu bedienendes Format und schülerfreundliches Layout gefeiert wurde, fragten uns einige Eltern nach etwas, das sie mit ihren jungen Grundkindern verwenden könnten. So haben wir unsere jahrelange Erfahrung mit jungen lateinischen Gelehrten zusammengesetzt und Prima Latina, einen einführenden Latein-Kurs für Schüler im Kindergarten bis zur 4. Klasse. Prima Latina wurde für kleine Kinder entwickelt, die noch mit englischer Grammatik vertraut sind und Latein in einem langsameren Tempo lernen möchten. Das Programm bietet 25 Unterrichtsstunden, jeweils eine Grammatikfähigkeit, 5 Wortschatzwörter mit entsprechenden englischen Derivaten, einen praktischen lateinischen Satz und eine Zeile eines Gebets, das insgesamt über fünf Lektionen gelernt wird. Die Übungen, die jede Lektion begleiten, sind gründlich und ermöglichen eine ständige Überprüfung der gelernten Materialien während des Kurses Nach allen fünf Unterrichtsstunden sammelt ein Überprüfungskapitel das abgedeckte Material zusammen und bietet einen Schlüsseltest, um die Beherrschung zu gewährleisten. Mit Grammatik-Unterricht, die für Primärstufen geeignet sind und einem leicht ablesbaren Zweifarbenformat ist Prima Latina die perfekte Wahl für diejenigen, die früh Latein beginnen und die Grundlage eines strengen Sprachkunstprogramms legen möchten.
