When not racking his brain trying to rhyme words like sauerkraut and purple, he runs a tutoring company with his brother. A Child's Guide to Common Household Monsters is his first picture book. He lives in Los Angeles.

David Udovic received a BFA in painting from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. For thirty-four years he has made his living as a commercial and fine artist. He has also provided numerous illustrations for children's magazines. A Child's Guide to Common Household Monsters is the second picture books. He lives in New Jersey with is wife, Susan.
