Dr. Baruch Kushnir, a worldwide expert in bed wetting, bladder control, and child development, graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and possesses an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and a Ph. D. in Medical Psychology from Leeds and Hull Universities in the UK. Since 1982, he has devoted his life to the treatment and research of problems with sphincter control in children. During these years he has applied his bed wetting alarm treatment approach to more than 24,000 children in his 17 clinics throughout Israel. This experience has enabled him to learn about the various aspects of the problem and the many obstacles that stand in the way of gaining complete sphincter control. The book and movie are based on more than 25 years of experience of Dr. Baruch Kushnir in the treatment and research of bed wetting, soiling and various problems related to bowel and bladder control in children, as well as general guidance regarding potty training issues.
