Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a Scottish physician and writer whose stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes have become known as classic. Edward Hardwicke is an accomplished British actor. He played Dr. Watson in a United Kingdom television series for eight years, as well as on stage in 1989.
