A graphic novel compilation of the first six issues from Desperado Publishing and Image Comics. The rebirth of the Deadworld comic series with this storyline that reintroduces the world of teens fleeing in a bus, a crazed man who claims he opened the gates of evil, and the sadistic, Harley-riding King Zombie. When a group of kids find a strange man and help him out, they find themselves face to face with a talking zombie, one that threatens to destroy the world. Fleeing, they realize that they are in a new world, one where humans are every bit as dangerous as the zombies.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Gary Reed is the author of many titles with the most notable being Saint Germaine, Renfield, Raven Chronicles, and Baker Street. He has written over 200 comics and books, mostly based on history and literature. He has also written film scripts, short stories, role playing games, and a video game storyline. Before turning to writing as a freelance career, he owned and operated a chain of bookstores in the Detroit area and was publisher of Caliber Press, a specialty house of comics, books, games, and other related material. In addition to his writing, Gary also currently teaches biology courses at various community colleges. He lives in a suburb of Detroit with his wife, Jennifer, and they have four daughters.
