As the story unfolds, it becomes less and less clear as to who rescued whom.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Jimmy Ball grew up in DeKalb, Illinois, home to Northern Illinois University and endless corn fields. He enjoyed a thirty-six-year career with the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2007. Married for thirty-five years, he and his wife, Barb, are empty nesters with two daughters off and married on their own. In addition to writing, retirement includes part-time work at the University bookstore, reffing high school football and basketball, walking his dog, Digger (a rescued dog following Hurricane Katrina), and spoiling his grandson. A long-suffering Chicago Cubs fan, he optimistically awaits “next year.”
