Connie A. Walker has been an insatiable reader and a compulsive writer since childhood. She is the author of the prize-winning plays THE LIGHT STILL BURNS, and NEARLY A WOMAN, as well as the prize-winning children's book, TIMMY AND THE K'NICK K'NOCKER RING. Her novels include The Wolkarean Inscription Trilogy (THE SPIRE OF KYLET, THE EYES OF LANDOR, and TRIUMPH AT SERPENT'S HEAD), The Wolkarean Enigma Trilogy (REVELATION OF RIDDLES, SORCERERS IN SHOKAREEN, and TEMPLE OF RULIANTHABAH), and the Modern Fairytale Series (ECHOES: A Modern Fairytale, DARK IN THE FOREST: Another Modern Fairytale, SUNSHINE AND SHADOWS: Yet Another Modern Fairytale, and REFLECTIONS: One More Modern Fairytale). She was born in Idaho, attended elementary school in Kansas, and graduated high school in Alaska. She has a B.A. in theatre/playwriting from Brigham Young University, plus a B.S. in psychology and a Master's degree in social work from the University of Utah. She has worked as a graphic artist, a technical writer, a foster care caseworker, a clinical social worker, and a mental health program manager.
