As an only child, raised in the city, Deanna dreamed of having more than one pet at a time. Little did she know that years later that dream would become full-blown reality when she and her husband Dave moved to the outskirts of Springfield, Oregon. They live on Menagerie Ranch, now listed on the Historic Register in Oregon, with ten dogs, nine horses, eight cats, thirty goats, two pigs and two llamas (for now).
