A lifelong Edgar Rice Burroughs reader, Win Scott Eckert is the author of the ERB Universe novel Tarzan: Battle for Pellucidar. He is also the authorized legacy author of science fiction Grand Master Philip José Farmer's Patricia Wildman series (The Evil in Pemberley House, The Scarlet Jaguar), as well as the coauthor with Farmer of the fourth volume in the Secrets of the Nine series, the Doc Caliban novel The Monster on Hold.
