Inhaltsangabe

Tempted by nearly-real worlds of her own creation,
Lin risks being lost there forever.
What is it about her flights
That captivates her more—
Gaining new powers? Or chasing her fantasy?

Lin Finity made a desperate decision to take her daughter and end their lives as women. They’ve returned after six weeks, but they’re not quite themselves. Lin learns that becoming herself again will take more than chocolate. Jack’s steadfast love helps and so does the timeless wisdom of her remarkable friend, Gabriel.

A seductive nemesis, Gloriana, is again part of Lin’s life, teaching her and Taylor long-forbidden Glyphin skills even as she schemes to seduce Jack. With her typical style and humor, Lin juggles her return to human life, her desire to destroy Gloriana, and helping a past friend survive bizarre horrors. She finds solace in using the strength of her intent to take her on flights to nearly-real worlds of her own creation—worlds where she hones her powers and pursues a perilous fantasy.

“Where are those worlds, Gabby?” ~Lin
“You might as well ask where this world is. There’s no answer to that, Lin. This world and whatever worlds you inhabit on your flights exist in the vast forever our minds can’t comprehend.” ~Gabriel
