Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Jennifer W. Shewmaker, Ph.D. serves as the Dean of the College of Education and Human Services and Professor of Psychology at Abilene Christian University. She has served as a full time faculty member and in a variety of administrative roles, including Assistant Provost for Teaching and Learning, Executive Director of the Adams Center for Teaching and Learning and Director of the School Psychology Graduate Program. She is a nationally certified School Psychologist, who has partnered with professionals in the educational, nonprofit, and health fields throughout her career. She has written about and presented widely regarding the use of the practices of courage and creativity in educational innovation in order to create transformative learning environments.

Amy Boone is a Texas certified teacher and has taught students from pre-kindergarten through graduate school. She is the Teaching and Learning Specialist for the Adams Center for Teaching at Learning at Abilene Christian University. She has written about positive media production and piloted this curriculum with gifted students in a summer gifted program.
