Inhaltsangabe

Chain-smoking former-U.S. Marine, Mantis, finds herself amid a demon-littered suburban hell. With the book of Revelation unfurling before her very eyes, she soon recruits a reformed prostitute, a bubbly dancer, and a hopelessly smitten DJ to help her stop the apocalypse in its tracks. Locked and loaded with sinister creatures, a violent array of villains, and an unfiltered heroine with the charm of a rabid wolverine, Mantis will take you on a wild road trip through the bowels of America's deep south and drop you on the doorstep of the Devil.

From the demented, award-winning author of The Rictus Grin and Other Tales of Insanity & Writhe comes a unique thriller in the spirit of Dogma and From Dusk Til Dawn, perfect for fans of Jeff Strand, Chuck Wendig, and Christopher Moore.

Praise for Mantis:

"Totally hilarious and original. The humor and gore is perfectly balanced. Hysterical!" - Matt Forgit, author of How to Be a Professional Mourner

"It's action-packed. It's a B movie on paper and I'm here for it. It's refreshing to read a religious horror where the author is actually knowledgeable in their theology." - Chisto Healy, Author of Two of a Kind

"Summers weaves and apocalyptic vision of reality with love, friendship, and a f*load of witty, gun-toting Texans." - David-Jack Fletcher, award-winning author of Raven's Creek.

"This book has got everything I love! A strong female lead, supernatural vibes, humor, and an apocalypse! The best part is the friends made along the way." - Angel Van Atta, Author of In the Tall Trees

"This is such a fun and wild book! It's got humor, horror, demons, & sex! Fast-paced. There are lots of powerful female characters. The ending was my favorite part! This author is definitely one to follow." - Amazon reviewer

"Welcome to the underbelly of the apocalypse! Filled with blood, guts, and humor, Summers gives us a mash of the most unlikely characters to save the world from Hell. Mantis has a charm all its own, and with tight, fast-paced storytelling, the action and antics just keep on coming. The chemistry among the characters is excellent and makes for a laugh-out-loud, bloody good time!" -Ezekiel Kincaid, author of Johnny Walker Ranger: Demon Slayer Vol 1 & 2.
