His ties to the Presidency start with a distant connection to Franklin Pierce, the 14th President of the United States. More recently, his uncle George H. W. Bush served as the 41st President, and his first cousin George W. Bush was the 43rd President. While spending his career in the insurance business, Jim's love of history began early and has never waned. His reverence for Winston Churchill's heroic leadership during World War II remains steadfast. Jim is married and has four children. He and his wife Dabney are enjoying their two grandchildren, named Pierce and Milly.
