Inhaltsangabe

With hurricanes, floods, droughts and fires filling our evening news the release of The Girl with the Red Nails could not be more-timely!

In The Girl with the Red Nails, Dr. Derk Bryan, the Indiana Jones of the EPA, pursues the greedy and the complicit who are fueling an approaching global catastrophe. A must read!

Estee Sparks is a woman so committed to revenge the death of her son, the breakup of her marriage and the loss of her family’s business, she covers her entire body with tattoos of extinct animals and goes on the attack. With the help of a group of law students she goes gorilla on those she thinks are responsible. As a sideline she entices Dr. Derk Bryan to help her find someone who killed a Ricei Whale, one of the last of its species. The normally intrepid Dr. Bryan is distracted by an obsession with Dr. Susan Carlton, an astronaut training for the First Mission to Mars whose life he saved while sky diving.

When Ardale, a damaged reporter dogging Derk for a story that will reprise his career, tells him, “There is no indication that Susan Carlton ever existed prior to NASA,” Derk suspects a conspiracy. With his body half broken from attempts to reconnect with Doctor Carlton that have landed him in the ER, he wonders how far these people are willing to go? When he discovers that a popular radio reverend is really an ex-con who has become a puppet for the fossil fuel interests, he realizes they have no limits and he must stop them.

All roads lead to the doorstep of Pendleton Danswirth III and his billionaire buddies. It looks as if he’ll get away with murder and more until an ending that no one saw coming.
