Inhaltsangabe

This book is about grief. It will touch everyone who has lost someone they loved. Karyn writes from the heart with painful honesty, expressing her experience of losing her husband, the love of her life. She eloquently conveys her pain, self-discovery and appreciation for her beloved husband, and speaks to her new life going forward without him. Karyn's poems show us that we must each navigate grief on our own terms. Her writing is rich... heart-wrenching at times, but always honest and often inspirational. Her poems will touch the hearts of all of us - those who have grieved, those who continue to grieve, and those who will face this journey at some point in the future." - Geri Mose Mahrt, fellow grief-support group member "Karyn Vampotic has frequently shared her poems with the bereavement support group that I facilitate each week. The participants in the group find the poems to be immensely powerful and profoundly accurate in reflecting their own loss and grief. As the leader, I can see that her reading of these poems brings comfort and is a source of healing for the group. I continue to thank her for the inspiration they provide and grateful for her willingness to share her very personal anguish. Karyn is a brilliant poet. I believe that Karyn's poetry has been a therapeutic gift to the group
