In the summer of 1973, as part of my scholarship package at Vassar, I was a camp counselor with the Neighborhood Service Organization at the Smith Street Housing Project (II #65-100). As you can see, the kids were lively and fun. I remember some of their names, and would love to find them now. Looking at #91 it's hard not to think of William Klein's well-known 1954 "Gun I". My kids were playing as, apparently, were Klein's. After all, I was 'shooting' them, too. In contrast, I don't remember the instance, but the older boy's anger (#92) is inescapable.
