Inhaltsangabe

He thought he could survive anything… until one afternoon proved him wrong.

Jim Blanchette wasn’t searching for God. A retired cop hardened by a violent childhood and years on the streets, he thought he could handle anything life threw at him.

Then came the afternoon that shattered forty years of silence, forcing him to confront everything he had buried. In a small Texas basilica, a grueling three-hour confession became the turning point that would change his life forever.

In I’ve Made My Peace… So Can You, Deacon Jim Blanchette delivers a raw, unflinching story of trauma, faith, and redemption. Follow his journey from a hardened police officer to a deacon, discovering how to face the past, seek forgiveness, and find peace even when it feels impossible. Experience the lessons he never expected to learn—the hidden strength that emerges when a person is forced to let go, and the power of faith, prayer, and courage to transform a life.

“I exchanged the .45 caliber Smith & Wesson I carried for many years for the most powerful weapon any person can carry: the rosary beads I now keep close at hand.”

Whether you’re a lapsed Catholic wondering if you can come home, a survivor seeking peace, or a seeker craving a modern-day conversion story that doesn’t sugarcoat the truth, this is your invitation.
