A student pilot who spends considerable amounts of time chair flying will greatly outperform those who don t. Chair flying cements the procedure for the various maneuvers in the pilot's brain so that when done in the airplane time is not wasted trying to remember how the procedure goes. Each maneuver will include a list of references indicating where further information about the maneuver may be obtained. The references should be used to help develop a complete understanding of each maneuver before attempting them in flight.
