You don’t need a law degree to comprehend this practical guide to Florida estate, probate, and Medicaid law—esteemed estate attorney Gregory Ebenfeld has broken down the complicated legalese into terms that anyone can understand.
Estate planning is an ongoing progression that spans decades. Much like any other lifelong process, the goals, structure, and concerns of your estate plan will change drastically as you age. A single twenty-year-old intern will have an entirely different plan from a married seventy-five-year-old retiree. This essential guide can help get you started no matter what stage you’re in.
In addition to actionable advice for anyone navigating the often-murky waters of Florida estate planning, probate, and Medicaid law, Ebenfeld shares personal experiences from his decades of legal practice. These tangible examples reveal the multiple contingencies that we must account for when looking toward the future.
Planning for these contingencies—and for any potential legal complications that come along with them—may seem like a worry for the future. What You Need to Know Before You Go stresses the importance of starting now and changing your plans as needed. Don’t wait until it’s too late!
