We could talk about how a pulmonary embolism following a skiing accident gave author RL Turner all the time and ammo he needed to write two action adventure novels, but lets not go there. Instead, know that he likes cars and racing a lot. Having owned eleven Porsche and driven countless laps on race tracks throughout the Southwestern US, he knows a thing or two about driving fast. He loves pistols and enjoys going to the shooting range to see just how small a target cluster he can get. Bottom line Robert probably wishes he was the hero in the books, Marc Lange, but now he is just too damn old to follow through on that fantasy. Instead he writes about living life on the edge. No matter, just enjoy the books. They're a lot of fun.
