Inhaltsangabe

"Linda is masterful at capturing the essence of caring for horses in the winter. I feel like I am there, mucking out, tromping through snow with frozen fingers. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series, because Emilie has captured my heart." - Amazon review

She hummed “All I Want For Christmas Is You” as they returned to the training barn, but didn’t know if you was a guy or a friend; had two legs or four. All she knew was, this Christmas would be different. Because everything was different.

Christmas has always been Emilie's favorite time of year, but this one's shaping up to be different. With her parents rekindling old family ties in Montreal and her sister celebrating with future in-laws out west, she's facing her first solo holiday season on the family's bustling Thoroughbred farm.

But who has time to feel lonely? Between juggling her physiotherapy internship, exercising horses, helping at her friend's cozy café, and dreaming of adopting the perfect furry companion, Emilie's plate is more than full. Then the farm manager's sudden departure sends her carefully balanced world spinning until she accepts that sometimes the best Christmas gift isn't found under the tree — it's in letting others share the load.

A parallel book to This Good Thing, (Good Things Come Book 4) or can be read as a standalone.

Bonus: includes a recipe for Nanaimo bars, a favourite Canadian treat and the first chapter of All The Best Things, the continuation of Emilie’s story!
