The Sun Also Rises follows Jake Barnes, an American journalist in 1920s Paris, and his circle of expatriate friends, including the spirited Lady Brett Ashley. The group embarks on a journey to Pamplona, Spain, to witness the Festival of San Fermín, immersing themselves in the fervor of bullfighting and the running of the bulls. Amidst the festivities, complex romantic entanglements and personal conflicts arise, reflecting the disillusionment and aimlessness of the post-World War I "Lost Generation."
