Linda Hogan was born in County Kildare and received her doctorate at Trinity College in Dublin. She currently lectures in Christian Ethics, Women and Religion, and Gender, Ethics and Religion at the University of Leeds in England. Hogan has written extensively on issues in feminist theology and is also a contributor to the Oxford Companion to Christian Thought.
