The contributions reflect global perspectives with contributions from African, Asian, European, North American, and South American scholars and contexts.  The essays are interdisciplinary, at the intersection of religion, anthropology, history, political science, gender and post-colonial studies. Darren J. Dias is Associate Professor of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto, and is Director of the Dominican Institute of Toronto, Canada.

Jaroslav Z. Skira is Associate Professor of Historical Theology at Regis College in the University of Toronto, Canada.

 Michael S. Attridge is Associate Professor of Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto, and is Director of the Institute for Research on the Second Vatican Council in Canada.

 Gerard Mannion was Joseph and Winifred Amaturo Chair in Catholic Studies at Georgetown University, USA.
