Experimental psychology depends on theoretical and methodological foundations. Addressing these foundations is not always trivial and requires a shift in epistemological perspective. Alexander Nicolai Wendt, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher of psychology at the Sigmund Freud University Viena as well as at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. His work focuses on psychology of thought, theoretical psychology, and philosophy of science.
