Adriana Saraceni is a Programme Director for the Business Engineering BSc Programme at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics, The Netherlands. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on sustainable logistics, transport, and operations, and she has contributed to several international research projects in this domain. She has published widely in books and journals
Thierry Vanelslander is a Professor at the Department of Transport and Regional Economics of the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His research focuses on business economics in the port and maritime sector, and in hinterland transport and urban logistics. He is the chair of the World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) Special Interest Group on Ports and Maritime, and topic area manager for WCTR’s Transport Modes tracks. He is also the chair of the Freight & Logistics group within the European Transport Conference.
Lieven Quintens is the Scientific Director of the Brightlands Insititute for Supply Chain Innovation at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics, The Netherlands. His research focuses on inter- and intra-firm relationships in purchasing and supply chain management, sustainability and circularity and the role of supply chain management in a carbonless society. He has published widely in books and journals.
