One such physiological biometric characteristic Finger Knuckle Print has been used in this research for recognition using Hybrid Wavelets. The finger knuckle print of a particular person is found to be unique and can serve as a biometric feature has been revealed recently by the researchers. It is the wrinkled part present on the phalangeal joint of the finger. This pattern is generated when a person bends his finger and is highly unique.
