For each lesion we present information about its etiopathogenesis, clinical features, its clinical and oral manifestations, histopathology, immunohistochemistry differential diagnosis and treatment aspect. We hope & believe that this textbook will offer dental healthcare professionals with current comprehensive knowledge, though; it is not a final word in this ever evolving realm.

A Dra. Rashmi M Hosalkar exerce atualmente a sua atividade como consultora em Patologia Oral e Maxilofacial. Ganhou o prémio de Dentista Especialista do Ano - Patologia Oral na FEDA-2016, Mumbai, pela sua contribuição neste domínio. Como autora/coautora, publicou vários capítulos num livro internacional, bem como artigos em revistas internacionais e nacionais.
