The book "Additive manufacturing based on material extrusion technology" has an aim to emphasize better understanding the process of additive manufacturing, in which the product is fabricated layer by layer. The work is based on Material Extrusion technology - FDM and gives to production and civil engineers, medical professionals, university professors and students, the information they need to better use the potential of additive technologies. The book also provides an overview of the additive manufacturing processes with development procedure of RP models and a typical rapid prototyping cycle which are analyzed in general terms. The properties of polymers, used in fabricated examples in FDM process, have been analyzed and recommendations for future, efficient use are given. Consequently, the book gives very useful guidelines for all which are involved in a process of realization of this revolutionary technology of the future.
