Due to the burning of fossil fuel resources, the world is looking towards the renewable power generation for supplying power to the consumers with low cost. This book deals with a particular problem that occurs at the interface between a Distributed Generation (DG) plant and the rest of the power system. The problem can be described as islanding detection in power system. Most of the passive methods are failed to detect balanced islanding. The passive methods which work at balanced islanding are presented in this book with zero non detection zone with the study and analysis of different islanding and non islanding events on a hybrid test system without degrading the power quality.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ch. Rami Reddy received B. Tech, M. Tech degrees from J N T University, Kakinada and working towards his Ph.D degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K L University, India. He is also working as Asst.Professor with the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Nalanda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Guntur, India.
