Not only that but it is also learning resource for students and teachers. It has four primary objectives. 1. To develop concept of Ring Foundation and its utility for different structures. 2. Analysis of Ring Foundation considering different methods including Numerical Techniques. 3. To develop computer programming. 4. To design cost effective Ring Foundation. Different methods of analysis of Ring Foundation such as IS code method, methods followed in different RCC books and Finite Difference Methods has been considered. Detailed study has been made and step by step procedure has been given using finite difference method for analysis purposes. Ring beam has also been analyzed and designed. Computer program has been developed and results have been compared with results available in the literature. A more precise central difference equation of third derivative has been formulated using Taylor’s Series. Parametric studies have been also made to know the influence of different parameters.
