This short book is condensed from a doctoral dissertation, which aims to find out a more applicable model to manage the whole life of all records in all media in the information age. It is based on a study of archival theories and practices using content analysis, case study, and comparative methods. This study constructs a new model named "Interactive and Integrated Model for the Management of Documents, Records, and Archives (I2 DRA)." I2 DRA merges the advantages of life-cycle and records continuum models, bridges their gaps, and highlights information openness, information governance architecture, long-term preservation, risk management, and other critical characteristics.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Chiu-yen Lin is the Director-General of National Archives Administration in Taiwan. She won many rewards because of her contribution in this field. She holds a PHD degree from the Department of Library and Information Science, National Taiwan University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.
