Protective Textile is one of the emerging areas in technical textile sector which will protect our body from various external environments. The Kevlar yarn is one of the most opt able material for many protective applications. The idea is that nylon yarn can be replacing the existing Kevlar yarn for protective application because of compressive strength and work of rupture. An attempt is made to replace existing Kevlar yarn by producing nylon multilayered fabric and coating Carbon nanotube for protective application. Nylon filament yarn of 858 denier and 1330 denier was taken for the work. Multiwall Carbon nanotube has been taken for coat the developed nylon woven fabric. The multi layered woven fabric was produced by using nylon filament yarn of two various deniers. Two layered woven fabric, three layered woven fabric, four layered woven fabric and five layered woven fabric were chosen for protective application. Carbon nanotubes are light, flexible, thermally stabile, chemically inert, and extremely strong- making them ideal for bulletproof technology.
