The challenges posed by wrist problems are discussed in 39 selected papers which include unique observations and detailed surgical techniques. This information will not only help the surgeon achieve more satisfactory clinical results, but also stimulate further contemplation and research. The contributions are grouped into six sections. They include topics such as vascular bundle implantation into the lunate for Kienboeck's disease, Herbert screw insertion through a minimal exposure for acute scaphoid fracture and closing wedge osteotomy of the radial styloid for the early stage of the SLAC wrist.
