The conference also assessed chaos theories, self-organized critically and complex systems, convection and travelling waves in simple and complex liquids, nonlinear structures in materials such as magnetic systems, polymers, fluid dispersions, and glassy and solid thin films. Other nonlinear structures in plasmas are also discussed.
