received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciencefrom the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006.He visited INRIA, Sophia Antipolis, France,Ritsumeikan University, Japan, and NanyangTechnological University, Singapore, and workedat Microsoft Research, China. His research hasfocused on computer vision, machine learning,and multimedia. Dr. Guo is a Senior Member ofthe IEEE.
