Medicine deals with despair, loss, and suffering, it is also a great source for limbic memories of exaltation, comfort and peaceful joy. This book belongs to a series of books and papers I call the “best of us”. I hope to find the best in treatment, in places, in our spirits and memories that will bind us and will help to prevent and remove some of the pain and suffering associated with unnecessary death, and sickness.
