The usage of native language through Internet is highly demanding due to rapid increase of Internet based applications. As information is available in the Internet in different languages, it is impossible to retrieve the interested information in other native languages. Universal Networking Language (UNL) addresses this issue by converting any natural language to UNL expressions followed by UNL expressions to respective native language. Although Bangla is the 6th widely spoken language, there is no system developed so far to convert Bangla text to UNL and vice versa. This book builds a framework by bridging Bangla and UNL. The framework has two parts: i) EnConverter, which is used to convert Bangla native language sentences to UNL expressions by using analysis rules and ii) DeConverter, which is able to convert UNL expressions to respective Bangla sentences by using generation rules. In both cases, case structure analysis, Bangla parts of speech, and different forms of verbs along with their prefixes, suffixes and inflexions are taken into consideration. A complete theoretical analysis of the EnConversion and DeConversion frameworks is presented in this book.
