The content of this book consists of several important aspects regarding biological nutrient removal in compact systems such as moving-bed biofilm reactors (MBBR), aerobic granular sludge reactors (AGS) and sequencing batch reactors with suspended biomass. Biografía del autor:

João Paulo Bassin has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (2006), Master's in Chemical Engineering (2008). He obtained his PhD degree in two different Institutions: Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). His research is specially focused in biological wastewater treatment.
