In our general life we use the Desktop oscilloscopes for displaying the wave forms. But Desktop oscilloscope are bulky and does not give intelligent functions such as –Storing the measured data : We can not store output measured data while observing the out put. So we can not analyze the output in later times –Performing spectrum analysis : We can not possible in normal oscilloscope to see and analyze the spectrum –Multiple channel measurements : In normal Desktop oscilloscopes we can not measuring using more than two channels. There are some storage oscilloscopes which give these features but that are very costly. So in this case going for the ARM7 based microcontroller LPC2148 is the better idea. Which low power and low cost.
