The need to produce more rice with less water is crucial for food security for many Asian countries. Addressing these issues requires an integrated approach to soil – water – plant - nutrient management at the plant - rooting zone. One of these technologies is fertigation, which is the direct application of water and nutrients to plants through drip irrigation system, which accelerates the pace of rice production by drip fertigation in rice.
