This research book is based on a prototype for an Autonomous Rescue Boat.The main objective was to design and manufacture an autonomous boat capable of carrying out rescue operations. The boat moves autonomously in a fixed pattern checking for human presence after every few seconds. When it senses a human, the boat goes near that person and stops.This project can be implemented on a larger scale to fabricate a practically useful rescue autonomous boat. When loaded with a GPS to initially guide the boat, it could be deployed on sea shores, beaches, pools and floods to reduce the risk involved in a rescue operation.

Fouad ShahidFouad Shahid along with his group members Fasahat Abbas and Lakhcaer Khan graduated in Mechatronics Engineering from Air University in 2012. Their area of interest includes automation,robotics and circuit designing.
