The need for developing economy to be aware of the implications of combining cloud computing practices with open source initiative cannot be over-emphasized. Open source access act as a basis for innovation, free of license restriction, enabling motivated users to customize solutions for context-specific needs, these will ensure an efficient use of existing code base and meet the requirement for developing nations that struggle with limited resources to tackle similar challenges.
