Dr. rer.nat. Dr.-Ing. habil. Timm Gudehus ist Wissenschaftler und Verfasser zahlreicher Bücher und Beiträge in Physik, Ingenieurwesen, Logistik und Ökonomie. Sein Buch über Logistik ist ein anerkanntes Standardwerk. Er hat Mathematik und Physik studiert, ein Diplom in Experimentalphysik gemacht, in theoretischer Physik promoviert, in den USA geforscht und sich später neben seiner Industrietätigkeit habilitiert. Der Autor war lange Zeit in verschiedenen Branchen als Manager und Geschäftsführer tätig und zuletzt selbständiger Unternehmensberater für Strategie und Logistik.
