Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
After graduating in product design in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Mike Ambach worked as an in-house designer at Gaggenau-Hausgeräte. After founding his own design firm, he also worked as a design fundamentals lecturer in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Today, his work focuses on the areas of living and kitchens, electromobility and mechanical engineering.

Trois questions fondamentales que tout architecte, designer et artiste se pose régulièrement sont thématisées dans cet ouvrage en trois sections, expliquées systématiquement et auxquelles il est répondu. De plus, ce livre ouvre des possibilités directionnelles pour mieux communiquer, discuter et expliquer son propre travail avec d'autres créateurs ou d'autres groupes professionnels.
La première section est une compilation complète de tous les éléments possibles permettant de déterminer et de décrire toutes les formes au sein des objets. La section centrale offre un aperçu qualitatif des possibilités de développement et d'optimisation des formes, des éléments de forme ou des objets. La troisième section présente la méthodologie de développement d'un système d'évaluation propre. L'objectif de la publication est d'offrir une orientation sur les bases du design, qui regroupent les aspects formels, artisanaux, de contenu et de méthode pour une compréhension globale de la conception.
