Seit über 25 Jahren geht der Künstler Alex Fischer mit seinem Projekt Drainspotting der verborgenen Schönheit unter unseren Füßen nach. Für dieses Buch hat er mehr als 500 Abdrücke von Kanaldeckeln aus 135 Städten in 35 Ländern auf sechs Kontinenten zusammengetragen. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Alex Fischer was born in Hamburg, Germany and has lived and worked in Amsterdam for almost 30 years. He studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. To celebrate Amsterdam's 750th anniversary, Fischer was involved in designing a special drain cover. A total of 1,500 will be gradually rolled out across the city starting in 2025. Arnon Grünberg is a Dutch writer of novels, essays, and columns, as well as a journalist. Rudi Fuchs is a Dutch art historian and curator.
