Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Chris Maaß is Professor of Media Linguistics at the University of Hildesheim, where she heads the Knowledge Lab Information Literacy and Accessibility, the Research Centre for Easy Language, and the Master’s programme “Accessible Communication”. Laura Marie Maaß is Professor of Social Work, Inclusive Education, and Inclusion at PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen and an interpreter for German Sign Language. Velga Polinska, PhD, is a research assistant at the Latvian Language Institute, University of Latvia. She serves on the board of the NGO “Down Syndrome Latvia” and co-edited the first Handbook of Easy Latvian, contributing to Easy Language and Disability Studies in Latvia.
