Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Prof. Dr. Célestin Tagou was born in 1970 in Bamendjo, Mbouda in the Bamboutos division. Several times holder of Scholarship from German institutions (DAAD, Heinrich Böll Stiftung...), he obtained his PhD in Political Sciences and International Relations from the Goethe Universität Frankfurt/M. He began his career in Cameroon Higher Education at the Protestant University of Central Africa in 2007 and was promoted to the rank of Associate professor by the Ministry of Higher Education (CCIU) in 2014. Currently Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Célestin Tagou is equally the Executive Secretary of Network of Protestant Universities of Africa (NPUA). In addition to his research work that focuses on peace, security and development issues in Africa, he is a visiting professor to Universities in Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, Kenya, Togo, Benin....and a member of Transcend International Network of Prof. Johan Galtung.
